In a successful model developed over the past two years, modern board games have been aligned with state and national curriculum standards for use as a highly engaging instructional resource. These games include a strong focus on critical thinking and other 21st-century skills that are often delivered in a language independent platform, making them especially successful for English language learners.</p>
