Support Edublogs.org

November 28th, 2005 by Christopher Harris

A couple of posts pointed me to the plight edublogs.org is facing. It seems that they are now being targeted by district web filters.

Well, before I would be comfortable even bringing this up, I wanted to go take a look at the site. To put it plainly, I am rather impressed. Just trying things out, I saw a number of features that I would love to have access to. Still, the UB Server and Alex Halavais have been very supportive, and they are able to provide full access to the files and uploads, something not available from edublogs (and reasonably so). I haven’t had a chance to fully explore the site as I am finishing up some final reflections on my participation experiences from my school library field experience class, but I did want to share this quick note.

So, Monday morning when I get back to work, I will definitely be trying http://edublogs.org to see if it is blocked. Want to help?
