Hello School Library 2.0 Readers

May 10th, 2006 by Christopher Harris

Hello to readers who may be linking in from my article in School Library Journal on “School Library 2.0.” I have gotten some questions about some of the ideas proposed in the article, especially technology ideas where there wasn’t room enough to fully explore and explain concepts. Please feel free to leave any questions you have as a comment on here, or you can e-mail me at infomancy@gmail.com.

I will be posting a series of articles on here over the next week or so exploring topics in more detail including tagging, social bookmarking, Drupal and others.

I will be looking forward to following the series. Summer is coming – and I might have more time to read and study. I always learn so much from your blog!

Hi, Chris–I just got my issue of SLJ and re-read your article (read it first online). Great article! I really appreciate it and your blog to keep me learning.

BTW, tomorrow morning I will be doing a teleconference with Russian school librarians arranged by the Dept. of State. One of the topics to be discused is the future of school libraries and Libraries 2.0 is one of my answers to that questions. And you just put words in my mouth!

    Thanks, Sara
