We are talking about the AASL Standards for the 21st-Century Learner at the New York SLMS Leadership Retreat. Here is a one page document from a bit back that was created to help share the standards with administrators in our region.

    Chris, thanks for a great document. A team of library media specialists from Indiana are currently working on a project to correlate our academic standards to these 21st Century standards.

    Chris, This is a great document – thanks for sharing. I wonder if states that are currently working on adopting these standards or aligning them with curriculum standards are having any luck getting “buy-in” from the rest of the educational community. In Colorado, we hope to involve more than just librarians in the process of aligning these with the content standards. After all these are learner standards – not just library standards.
